It was the start of the ’24 season. It was the 40th anniversary of Kurtis Blow’s unambiguously titled hit single “Basketball.” It was time to mark the occasion(s) with a gift to the fans. “Basketball 2.0” took the spirit of the original and brought it soaring from the foul line into the 21st century, laced with just enough DashPass brand presence to keep a light buzz going.
